- Horizons Foundation
Horizons is home to several scholarships, including the Markowski-Leach Scholarship and the Albers-Alexander LGBTQ Law Scholarship. - We Rise LGBTQ Scholarships
Grass Roots Gay Rights Foundation awards $2,500 scholarships to LGBTQ students in the San Francisco Bay Area pursuing trade/technical certificates as well as associate's or bachelor's degrees. The grants focus on the development of skills necessary to find meaningful employment opportunities. - PFLAG Sacramento Follensbee-Hansen Scholarships
PFLAG Sacramento awards scholarships of $1,000 or more each spring. The Follensbee-Hansen Scholarships are restricted to LGBTQ+ students from the Sacramento region who demonstrate an interest in LGBTQ+ community service. - PFLAG Napa
PFLAG Napa awards academic scholarships to recognize outstanding LGBTQ* and LGBTQ* allies who are high school seniors and students in post-secondary institutions. You must be a resident of Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino, or Marin Counties, but there is no financial need or merit requirement. - Tang Scholarship
The Tang Scholarship provides financial assistance to LGBT Asians and Pacific Islanders for post-secondary education. - Sacramento Rainbow Chamber Foundation
The purpose of the Sacramento Rainbow Chamber Foundation Scholarship Award is to motivate and assist Greater Sacramento's LGBT and other supportive students in pursuing and completing an educational degree or vocational certificate. - Bulldog Pride Scholarship
The Bulldog Pride Scholarship Fund provides support to Fresno State incoming or returning students with good academic standing who have demonstrated pride in the community. The BPF also bestows the GSA Network Award to a student affiliated with the GSA Network. - GLEE Foundation Scholarship
The GLEE Foundation of California in Modesto awards $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors who will be pursuing a post-secondary course of study. The purposes of the program are to recognize and support outstanding lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and straight ally students who will be first-year undergraduates and to enhance their stature in the community. - Queens of the Castro
Queens of the Castro awards scholarships for LGBTQ+ youth across California, including the Grace Towers Scholarship for the Arts. - APIQWTC Scholarship
APIQWTC (Asian and Pacific Islander Queer Women and Transgender Community) is an organization in the San Francisco Bay Area providing support and community for queer and trans Asian and Pacific Islander individuals. The APIQWTC scholarship recognizes those who are active in the community and encourages future leaders. APIQWTC awards two $2500 scholarships to two Asian/Pacific Islander lesbian, bisexual, or queer women or transgender individuals pursuing technical/professional training or an undergraduate/graduate degree. - Synergy Scholarship
The GT Dave Foundation awards these $10,000 scholarships to support the next generation of LGBTQ+ students in achieving their entrepreneur dreams. Open to legal California residents with verified financial need.

- Los Angeles LGBT Center Scholarships
The Los Angeles LGBT Center’s Youth Scholarship Program offers financial support for selected LGBTQ+ students and their allies who are or will be pursuing a post-secondary education. The program grants scholarships to students who have shown strong promise and potential, but who, without financial support, might not otherwise complete their educational goals. The program considers academic merits, extracurricular activities, community involvement, personal narrative, and financial need. - Burton/May Pride Awards
Safe Schools Desert Cities awards these scholarships “to recognize outstanding LGBTQI youth who, through their participation, dedication and initiative, have helped foster a positive self-image among other LGBTQI youth.” Applicants must be from the Coachella Valley or surrounding areas.
